2013 Wedding Food Trend: Mini Bites
Written By Unknown on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 | 2:53 AM
Our 2013 Wedding forecast continues with top wedding food trends for the upcoming year. Food trends are always evolving. Last year, I posted what I predicted to be the top trends of 2012 and it was one of my most viewed blog posts ever. Now, I am highlighting what I think will be huge for 2013. Food served in shot glasses is the latest trend to allow guests a satisfying quick bite before hitting the dance floor. If you are planning a reception heavy on dance and good times, feel free to ask about us creating these fulfilling, amazing bites. Bite size foods are great for cocktail hours as well as late night snacks and desserts. It allows guests an opportunity to try a little of everything and it makes for adorable photos. Food plays an integral part of your special day for both you and your guests. For a memorable and lasting impression on your wedding day consider adding this fun element on your wedding day.
Here are some of my absolute favorite mini foods:
Savory Late Night: Mini Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Beer Shots, Mini Tacos and Margaritas in Shot Glasses, Tomato & Jalapeno Soup Shots with Mini Grilled Cheese, Sliders and French Fry Shooters, Mini Hot Dogs and Mini Mac & Cheese Pies
Desserts: Mini Caramel Apples, Milk Served in Shot Glass with Mini Cookies, Mini Milkshakes served with Retro Straws, Mini Sorbet Cones, Mini Cobblers served in Cast Iron Skillets, Mini Key Lime Pies and Mini Baked Alaska served with a Sparker
Breakfast Delights: Mini Buttermilk Chicken & Waffles, Mini Pancakes on a Stick with Blueberry Garnish and Mini Coffee Cups served with Fresh Baked Mini Doughnuts
